CFHC Hotels Experience on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Exchange Conference was held in Shanghai International Convention Center

The year 2011 witnessed the positive response to the call of the State, and active implementation of energy saving in an all around way, as well as the initiation of Green Hotel. As revealed by the work report made by the professional committees during the 21st Members Congress of China Famous Hotels Corporation, the Engineering Committee held the Hotels' Experience on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Exchange Conference on August 29-31, 2011, which was mainly themed on the exchange and learning of energy saving and emission reduction. Chen Xueyu, the Section Chief of Hotel Administrative Office of Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration and Chen Guanghua, the Deputy Secretary General of Shanghai Energy Saving Association, has attended the opening ceremony and made speeches. Moreover, 36 administrative staff from 24 Member Units of China Famous Hotels Corporation has participated in the Conference.
         
 During the Conference, Shanghai International Convention Center has invited senior professional experts to give lessons. The participants jointly discussed the energy-saving management and technological transformation work of the hotels. Wang Jiming, the General Manager of Shanghai International Convention Center not only made statement upon energy-saving and emission reduction of the hotel, but also visited the Engineering Department of Shanghai International Convention Center, the Shanghai Energy Saving Lamps Exhibition and the Garden Hotel featured by new energy-saving technology.
